&lt;p&gt;It was originally written on Windows, but there should be no (good) reason why it wouldn't work on Linux. What problems are you seeing exactly?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We have the same product in CICS regions on a mainframe too.&lt;/p&gt;
